Congratulations, Al Gore

You earned this Nobel prize for the inconvenient truths you've been telling. (Some of them even more obviously related to peace than your warnings about global warming.)

And congratulations to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, as well.

I hope the prize will encourage you to push candidates at every level into seriously grappling with the crisis, before and after their election. Don't let them off easy.
